Hello— 

I just wanted to say I hope you enjoy this little book of mine. I really enjoyed the whole process of writing it, and it’s a bizarre and lovely feeling holding it in my hands.

As you may know, it took about 6 months of organizing, editing and sweat and tears for it to be ready, but it’s been worth it. I really would like to thank Sharon and Stuart for being so heavily involved and for showing it some love and care, and also my friend Ben who did the amazing drawings and the great cover photo is by William Waldron. Like every creative project, you’re so reliant on your team of people so without all of them this wouldn’t have happened or been a bunch of notes on the toilet wall or something to that extreme.

Thank you so much for your constant support of me, and I hope to see you all at a show coming up when my new album is released very soon.

Hey i just wanted to say hello. I have some downtime right now and i have been busy writing the 2nd record and im enjoying it. Its weird having some time off cos I have basically been out on the road for the last 2 years but i needed a break but ive also been doing a lot of festival’s too in-between. I recorded my ep 2 weeks ago with my friend and very talented producer Jesse Lauter (Low Anthem and Alela Diane). 

We recorded in a day in a beautiful church with a very talented violin playing fello and im excited for it to come out. Im just picking the 5 tracks from the 7 to put on it right now and the name. I am also putting together my book thingy with the help of my publisher and my dear friend and incredible artist Ben Edge (from Thee Spivs) who is doing the illustrations.

I have some shows approaching mainly on the east coast that you should be able to see below on this website before i start off touring again in september. I also have Austin City Limits coming up which is gonna be amazing. My festival experiences have been nothing short of incredible and the responses and crowds have been amazing. 

I am writing everyday and have been isolating myself so i just wanted to say thank you for all of your enthusiasm for “A Winter Tale” which has now been out 5 1/2 months. People coming to the shows and there passion has been really inspiring and is making my love of playing even more intense. I feel really lucky to have you all on my side.
